Don't be a Victim!

... What they fail to mention is that living in New Jersey qualifies you for Victim Status. Hell, you're living in a state notorious for toxic waste! You need more of an excuse than that to claim victim status?? Let me make it easy for you: go to http://www.nj.com/ and try to find an article that doesn't smack of someone being victimized.

I'll wait.

Go.

Double Oh Heaven

Can I just say one thing?

Oh.
My.
God.

I have never liked James Bond movies... not the ones with Sean Connery (although he's a real hottie now that he's older) and especially not with Pearce Brosnin (Yuk!)

But I would gladly fork over my grocery money for the rest of my natural life to see Daniel Craig in 'Casino Royale' over and over and over and over and... well, you get the picture.

See it.

I'll Be Knitting My Way Back to You, Babe...

Tami, this is Julie...

Are you there baby? I miss you! But guess what? I'm moving up to the great liberal state of Washington to help balance the ratio of crazy democrats to decent republicans!

I feel it's the least I can do.

How have you been? I'm not bad. Working through My Own Personal Demons (by Mattel). I tried Demon-o-matic by Ronco, but it was whack. I didn't have what it takes for Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Demons by Kenner... I'm a pacifist.

Right now I'm sorting my Yarn Stash in preparation for the Big Move. I may not have what it takes to be a good wife, but I'm a bitchin' knitter. Does that count for anything?

So Knitta, get on the sticks and write to me!

Knitta, pleeeze!

I have begun to recover from Tami's vacation. She was the best! We had as much fun as two cousins can have in the south... OOOOPS!! No, not THAT much fun! Whew! That was a close one! Thank heavens our family tree forks!

My computer is fried. Lightning storms are hell on electronics here. But I love you and I'll write again soon!

(I'm writing this from the library computer and it's real creepy!)

Where's my knitta-sistah?

Oh Florida was such fun! And Julie was a great hostess! And I caused so much trouble it was probably regrettable in the end. We drank too much, got tattooed too much, laughed and cried too much and learned that there is no reason to play 18 holes of Putt-Putt Golf in 110 degree weather.

I highly recommend vacationing on the Gulf Coast. The beaches are BEAUTIFUL! And Sex on the Beach is delicious (hope those bumps are just razor burn).

What I loved about my Vacation:

+ The Tattoo Artist who looked like Monte Lee
+ Key Lime Martinis
+ The Southern Girl with the Scarlet Drawl saying people "thahnk ahm frum New Yaahk"
+ Warm Gulf Coast water
+ Grits with salt, pepper and butter
+ Blue Moon Beer with a fat wedge of orange
+ Stone Temple Charlotte
+ Being with Julie
